Something at last that is not a pigeon

My exchange project with Rachel Carvosso. PV Saturday 29th August, 7-9pm, with films projected onto West Street as soon as it gets dark.

Finally hatched...

Pigeon posts

I read up about the hatching eggs by the way, and it's fine to handle the eggs as long as it's minimal, and you're extremely careful. The parents know me anyway now- they won't reject the eggs, or anything like that.

Its beak opens and closes really slowly...

There's something small with yellow fluff, moving inside....

New mother pigeon

We're slowly bonding. She lets me sit by her now. But- no sign of a father pigeon- which is unusual. Ordinarily they take it in turns on the nest.

**Update** Pigeon father has made an appearance. But he is of a very nervous disposition.

Also, I realised that I was looking pretty bloody miserable in that picture. It's OK, I'm not having a breakdown, I was just having technical anxieties.
